Support President Buhari for the best result; Omoworare Urge Nigerian

The Senator representing Osun East Senatorial District, Babajide Omoworare has through his media aide Tunde Dairo asked Nigerians to be patient with President Mohammad Buhari and to pray that God Almighty gives him the fortitude to bring the much avowed change promised by the All Progressives Congress (APC).

President Buhari must be commended for this exceptional diplomatic conduct and the sense of pride he has restored to the battered diplomatic image of the country. The president has taken us away from the era of diplomatic absenteeism and incoherent presentations Omoworare said.

The Senator further said it is ironic that those who criticized President Buhari during campaigns and elections for dictatorial tendencies when he Military Head of State, are now criticizing him for taking his time to ensure the observance of the rule of law.

Senator Omoworare noted that in democracy, leaders must follow due process and due diligence. "President Buhari is only being cautious and methodological in his mission to revive Nigeria from the state of comatose fostered on her by the erstwhile Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led federal government". He said a few arm-chair critics seem to have forgotten so soon that the PDP government was a government of cabals, by cabals and for cabals; that prodigiously pilfered our commonwealth, "dollarized" our economy and almost brought our dear country to her knees.

In democracy, the mammoth ills of the past cannot be corrected by the wave of a magic wand; it can only be done as the President is doing, by adopting a thorough, meticulous and articulate approach to governance.

Senator Omoworare counseled President Buhari to remain focused, level headed and resolute in his quest to ensuring among other things that Nigeria is corruption free, guaranteeing safety of lives and properties, creating work for our teeming youths through Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises and providing uninterrupted electricity supply. He reminded him that this is his "niche" and why Nigerians voted for him.
